About Us

The New Crossroads of the North, also known as TNC of the North (TNCN), is the Official Student Publication of the University of Caloocan City for Congress and Camarin Voc-Tech Campuses. TNCN is mandated to provide news and information relevant to academic issues, school organizations, city and national matters, and other related societal concerns.

The publication was first known as Crossroads Publication in 1992 under the former name of UCC, the Caloocan City Polytechnic College. It was renamed to The New Crossroads in 2005, a year after the campus converted into the full-fledged University of Caloocan City.

The TNC of the North upholds progressive and critical journalism in accordance with its editorial policies. TNCN believes that a student publication must follow the normative standards in journalism as watchdogs and truth-tellers of society. It also promotes the advancement of the campus press freedom.

The publication also stands as the medium for the University policies, guidelines, news and information. It serves as the platform for students, faculty and the entire University in delivering academic information and relevant matters concerning the students.
